The Operations Engineering position is responsible for supporting the delivery of operational solutions and resolving problems, incidents, and outages. This position is responsible for the continuity of the engineering infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency of solutions for a Technology product or service.
Principal Accountabilities:
Ensure operational stability, integrity, and availability of products and services supported by the team.
• Ensure compliance with applicable service management standards and the presence of high-quality data in the registry's service management systems, as well as compliance with all additional standards and controls where applicable.
• Support the identification and resolution of all IT service-related incidents as established by the operations development team management.
• Ensure compliance with service resiliency, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives for all software solutions delivered.
• Deliver engineering changes to the infrastructure with the primary focus on customer or user experience.
• Develop and implement infrastructure changes capable of meeting anticipated load, performance, availability, security, and resilience requirements.
• Deliver infrastructure changes focused on automating the build, test, and process pipeline across all environments to minimize variation and ensure high future quality of code and data.
• Drive automation, continuous integration, and high availability levels through system monitoring and maintenance.
• Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure high future quality of code and data.
• Stay current and develop expert-level knowledge of current tools, technologies, and relevant areas, such as cybersecurity, and regulations on aspects such as data privacy, consent, data residency, and other related topics.
