The jobholder is a specialist role and is part of the Wealth sales force focused in insurance solutions. The incumbent is expected to be a technical expert in one or several product categories as relevant to market; such as Structured Products / Investment / Financial Planning / Retirement / Protection / Mortgage, etc , and the most significant contribution is expected to support Wealth´s Relationship Managers to gain more client trust and commitment in broadening and deepening their relationship with HSBC by serving customers outside the branch individually or in joint work with Relationship Manager.
Mobile Insurace Specialist is usually deployed to add value to the Wealth´s Relationship Managers on their daily activities and responsibilities at the regional level in more sophisticated products to Wealth customers.
Principal accountabilities:
Support Relationship Managers gain more clients confidence and trust in HSBC capabilities and increase the effectiveness and quality of needs fulfilled for target clients in need.
Assist Relationship Managers relationships through identifying and uncovering client's needs, identifying relevant wealth solution and technical analysis, and assisting Relationship Managers in presenting and explaining solution(s) to client or conducting individually end to end sales processes on site (office, home or other locations requested by the clients).
Commercial management to increase customer penetration in Wealth segment.
Give detailed tracking and registration of activity.
Promote professional sale of insurance products.
Provide specialist advice on appropriate insurance solutions to ensure the insurance/ protection needs of Wealth customers are well fulfilled
Training Relationship Managers on technical and practical skills through programed trainings when needed and improve Relationship Managers product specific technical knowledge by effective on-job coaching.
Assist on client planned events
· Minimum of three years of working experience as a product specialist, life insurace agent or financial advisor
Strong client skills with the ability to deliver a strong client experience and provide needs-based solutions
Deep knowledge of specific complex financial solutions and products including the knowledge of financial markets, socia-economic dynamics, and regulatory requirement relevant to the products
Extensive external market awareness of market conditions, new product solutions, and an understanding of current financial market activities
Demonstrated ability and experience to correctly identify client needs
Solid skills to manage consultative sales process
A solid understanding of global anti money laundering standards
Team player with collaborative skills
Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations
Specialisation in one or more product categories e.g. Structured Products /FX /Investments /Financial Planning /Savings /Retirement /Protection /Mortage etc.
Good level of English for medium to advanced understanding and communication
Excellent communication and interpersonal
