We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Test Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities 

The Test Analyst will be responsible for adherence to testing best practice and governance, analysing and interpreting business requirements to determine the requisite test coverage for a project/release and assess the risk of regressive defects. The Test Analyst will ensure the quality and reliability of Products solutions within SSv. This role involves manual and automated testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and adherence to financial regulations.

In this role you will: 

  • Design test plans/cases for functional, regression, user acceptance testing
  • Execute manual tests and automate repetitive tasks using tools like Selenium
  • Validate data integrity across platforms and reporting systems. Defect management
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Acknowledge and address stakeholder concerns and provide guidance towards resolving issues. Support team members by fostering an open, inclusive culture with a focus on personal well-being
  • Work with developers, BAs, and PMs in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for integrated system testing
  • Advocate for QA standards and mentor junior team members
Requirements

To be successful you will need: 

  • University degree or professional diploma/certification in Computer Science or related fields with strong knowledge of the testing lifecycle along with Understanding of financial instruments (equities, derivatives) and trade lifecycle
  • Expertise in functional, integration, user acceptance and model office testing and experience in working with different testing methodologies, i.e. Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall
  • Ability to effectively prioritise competing demands and work with minimal direction and  strong attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex business and IT requirements. Demonstrable capability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with a variety of stakeholders and a globally dispersed team. Experience in dealing directly with clients and third party providers will be good to have
  • Familiarity with asset management workflows (e.g., NAV calculations) and knowledge of collaboration tools – Confluence, JIRA and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience in test automation . Understanding of SQL and Oracle databases
