We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of VP- Business Analyst and Architect
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking
Principal responsibilities
- Conduct thorough data analysis and business process mapping for current state processes and target state solutions.
- Design and document business process models and workflows across multiple lines of business in Alternative Asset Management.
- Coordinate effectively between business, IT, and Data to clarify the processes, technology, and data elements of the business architecture of our different Alternative Asset Classes.
- Bring insights, potential synergies or simplifications across asset classes, platforms, and functions.
- Support the governance of Business Architecture changes through preparing with the business and actively participating in the Asset Management Business Architecture Design Authority.
- As the different asset classes business architecture get formalized over our multi-year transformation programme, the successful candidate will also ensure that the architecture documentation remains up to date.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business, Accounting, or Finance
- 14 to 18 years of overall experience with minimum of 5+ years in Asset Management.
- Working knowledge of internal and external third-party system integrations, ability to triage issues and implement/recommend solutions to business and data problems.
- Must have Asset Management experience of full end-to-end product, order and execution lifecycle across Front, Middle and Back Office systems.
- Extensive experience in Alternatives domain: knowledge across indirect private markets (for example indirect Private Equity, indirect Hedge Fund, indirect Real Estate, indirect private credit), private credit, real assets and ideally as well as public markets
- Strong documentation skills, high level of attention to detail, business analysis and project Management skills. Knowledge of Financial Services data domains: Security Master, Entity Master, Fund Master, Benchmarks, Positions, Transactions, Cash, Performance and Analytics
- Knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, Data Lineage tools, Data Quality Checks and Dashboards
- Excellent Problem solving and Analytical skills. Collaboration across functions and across markets and ability to animate cross-functional teams
- Agile working and application of change management tools.
- Strong communication skills with diverse teams across functions and business
