We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Vice President  - Test & Business Readiness Lead

Business: Global Banking & Markets

Principal responsibilities

  • Define test strategy / approach and mobilize to deliver against objectives and Events Standardization delivery plan.
  • Define test cases and supporting data based on functional and non-functional specification provided.
  • Take responsibility for integrity of testing and user acceptance activities and coordinate execution of activities
  • End-to-end change delivery ownership.
  • Coordinate environments between different technology systems and teams
  • Define test conditions for given requirements and coordinate with technology teams.
  • Report daily on any issues and test progress to the project manager.
  • Provide weekly reports on progress, risks and issues associated with the testing.
  • Go-Live readiness status, go-live runbook coordination across teams, users

Requirements
  • 15+ year experience; Global Markets or Asset Services 
  • 8+ year experience in a Test Manager capacity on delivery of medium to large scale initiatives.
  • Proven experience of delivery in an Agile & Waterfall project framework
  • Experience of Test Management and SDLC collaboration tools, e.g. Confluence, JIRA, ALM-QC.
  • Excellent understanding of technology and system architectures.
  • Comfortable liaising with technology Systems Analyst and Developers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and written/spoken communication.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Asset Services / or Corporation Actions workflow experience highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in analytical discipline (e.g. science, engineering) desirable.
  • Corporate Actions TCS Quartz / BANCS experience highly desirable.
  • Quality assurance (QA) experience desirable.
