The team you’ll work with:

 

HSBC Innovation Banking’s (‘HINV’) Strategic Fund Solutions (‘SFS’) team is responsible for managing key aspects of HINV’s relationship with its Private Equity and Venture Capital clients in the UK and across Western Europe.  SFS optimises the client experience through dedicated relationship management and cross-selling the breadth of HINV’s products to this sector, including banking, lending, treasury and foreign exchange.

 

What you can expect to be doing:

 

HINV is looking for a dedicated fund finance banker with strong relationship management and credit experience to join a fast-growing team in London.  You will have responsibility for an existing portfolio of PE & VC clients, planning for their current and potential future needs, as well as building and growing new relationships within the market.  You will also be responsible for the structuring, underwriting, and closing of debt, FX and treasury products, as well as driving process improvements to make it straightforward for clients to do business with HINV.

Requirements

The experience you need:

You must have a good understanding of the fund and management company level needs of Private Equity and Venture Capital firms, and the desire to learn more.

You will have good interpersonal and negotiation skills, display initiative and attention to detail, and be highly collaborative and team oriented.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required, together with proven relevant experience in Fund Finance.

Our home office in Finsbury Square, London. We offer hybrid working to all of our employees, so you can flex between home and the office.
