We are looking for the role of Senior Business Analyst
In this role, you will:
- Proficiency in handling large data using Excel to create various reports and views.
- Great attention to detail / accuracy and ability to look at the detail but also aggregate information for CIO / COO consumption
- Ability to prioritize effectively and willing to take on end-to-end responsibility of processes / reports including ensuring they are still fit for purpose and utilized by our stakeholders. This will include - but is not limited to - developing the tooling infrastructure for WPB Technology (Pioneer enhancements, Clarity v Pioneer, central governance and reporting management, enhanced tooling and infrastructure and driving Change Management implementation (e.g. Organizational Design, Transformation benefits management)
- Developing and maintaining vital relationships across multiple internal and external departments with stakeholders, business, and customers.
- Develop and implement Communications & Governance along with transformation and tooling skills to manage the end-to-end workforce team activities.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Analyse and aggregate data for Senior Management consumption - excellent analytical capabilities and advanced excel skills are a core requirement for this role to be able to analyse and interpret large sets of data and compare information in different systems to each other (Pioneer, Clarity, Discover, GPDM) as well as summarizing key messages and next steps.
- Resolve data accuracy gaps – ability to analyze data and drive actions to ensure good data quality across key workforce systems.
- Support ad hoc tasks / projects - support various workforce management related operational processes and data requests pertaining to onboarding, off boarding, extensions and various sub-processes to streamline the end user experience and provide it as a service to Business Managers.
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements - drive effective cross functional coordination, constructively challenge where required and suggest improvements for tools and processes. For tools, ensure suggestions are added to the backlog and prioritized.
- Manage Confluence Page – ensure processes and guidelines are well documented and up to date on confluence, adding new guidance and controls as required.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint a must
- Excellent analytical, relationship and presentation skills
- Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
- Credible, has energy to sustain the right focus and build consensus with a large and senior stakeholder group, working under pressure with multiple and conflicting demands
- Previous background of working in a matrix organisational structure with global stakeholders
- A strong influencer who challenges the status quo backed with reliable data analysis and trends.
- Previous experience with HSBC internal systems such as Pioneer, GPDM, GMIS and ERF
- Well-organized, self-starter and detail oriented person who is able to work under pressure and minimum supervision
- Efficient, reliable and meticulous in supporting various governance forums with the distribution of pre-meeting packs as well as documenting outcomes (minutes).
