Markets & Securities Services (MSS) provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody, corporate trust and loan agency and sub-custody settlement and services to the international asset management industry.
Fund Operations is an integral part of MSS, which primarily undertakes Fees calculations, Fund allocation, NAV calculation & validation, Pricing, Financial Reporting, etc.
The Opportunity: (Brief Overview of the Role)
The role will give you a detailed understanding of Hedge and Fund of Funds and end to end knowledge of the product cycle.
What you’ll do: (List out Key Responsibilities)
- Prepare & Review the Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations on a timely basis and be accountable for maintaining required standards of delivery quality
- Performing & Reviewing Valuations through Resolution of pricing discrepancies, Corporate Action Validation, Resolution of transaction discrepancies, Adherence the delivery timeline/PLA, Maintaining highest level of quality and accuracy for the assigned funds and Maintenance of the underlying accounting backups/records for assigned funds.
- Updating of daily MIS and time capturing as required by the process.
- Liaise with applicable Fund Administration Point of Contacts to communicate and resolve issues on a timely basis.
- Adherence Standard Operating Procedures as prescribed by the Operating Model.
- Help with enhancements to Job-Aid Matrix, process notes, checklists, Quality improvement tools and internal processes as and when required.
- Undertake/participate in projects for improvement in delivery quality and/or timeliness.
- Perform & Review any additional responsibilities that may be required by the Supervisor or Manager in support of the ongoing management and development of the division.
- Assist management in client onboarding, new fund launches, and new system rollouts
- Deputize managers when required upon request

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or a part professional qualification in CIMA/ CA/ ACCA/ CPA (E)
Technical Skills
- Experience in MSS Accounting & Valuation process (E)
- Good knowledge in Investment accounting, investment valuations, reconciliations (E)
- Proficiency in MS EXCEL (E)
- Proficiency in Outlook 2016 and written communication skills (E)
- Exposure to Geneva/ICON/Investran accounting platforms (D)
Intrinsic Skills
- Should have an eye for detail and a strong analytical mind. (E)
- Efficient Time Management and ability to multi task work and priorities to meet defined deadlines (E)
- Efficient communication skills (E)
- Proactive in implementing solutions where required (E)
