We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: Markets & Sec Services IT
Principal responsibilities
- Act as an expert in Java development in a transformation to service architecture.
- Advice on, and comply with CICD, DevOps and Agile practices.
- Work in all stages of the development pipeline: working with the business to gather requirements, implement those requirements with automated testing, and present the results to the business for review.
- Work closely with Business & IT Project Managers to ensure delivery of solutions consistent with Strategic Architecture
- Provide input to design discussions and project planning meetings.
- Provide support to production.
- Deliver valuable working software to the business with a constant focus on technical process improvement.
Requisitos
- 7+ years’ experience in enterprise software development.
- Proven strong expertise in Java, Spring framework, REST API, and Message Queue.
- Clear understanding of Microservices, deployment through Containers, and strategies for building and deploying highly available products.
- Hands-on experience with Clouds technologies.
- Hands-on experience with big data processing e.g. Spark.
- Sound security design and coding practices.
- A clear understanding of GIT, and different approaches to a CICD pipeline.
- Experience in DevOps and Agile development.
- Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills.
- Good at both oral and written English, can effective communicate with global teams and stakeholders.
- Disciplined approach to IT systems implementation.
- Strong team player.
- Ownership of tasks assigned to ultimate resolution.
- Appetite, enthusiasm and desire to initiate change and innovation.
