In this role, you will:

  • Monitor performance metrics for various production systems and identify root cause for technical issues and recommend solutions.
  • Responsible for maintaining the SLA for the process and perform Servco reporting
  • Be accountable for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations check as required.
  • Administer and implement new systems and ensure transition of plans to production.
  • Collaborate closely with local teams, Regional and Global and ensure that the CTO strategic direction is shared, understood in the  IT views & needs are fed in at the formative stage to Regional/Global  team.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage Asset Governance regulation, device provisioning, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Efficiently manage IT Assets and ensure regular evergreening of technologies of IT services is monitored and remediated as locally applicable in collaboration with the relevant IT teams and local business.
  • Advise, analyze, plan and ensure delivery of high quality and cost-efficient technology infrastructure services in support of business strategies.
  • Own, lead and drive the successful completion of all deliverables in the Bank.
  • Review and analyze existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency, then developing strategies for improving or leveraging these systems. 
  • Co-ordinate with business stakeholders and IT delivery teams (onshore and offshore; in-house and third-party) to drive change and provide solutions to business problems and opportunities.
  • Ensure high quality of project planning, execution, by adhering to HSBC’s Change Framework and embedding Agile methods.
  • Ensure systems are fit for the future and recommend/deliver changes required to improve platform efficiency and resilience.  
  • Ensure that business requirements and specifications are correctly captured and understood by the delivery teams to enable them to deliver high quality solutions.
  • Develop knowledge in the department, leveraging subject-matter expertise, experience and lessons-learnt.
Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Background in IT asset Management (at least 5 years), with broad knowledge of Asset governance, Hardware provisioning and Change Governance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, able to grow trusted partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders across the Bank.  
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong, strategic, analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into cost-effective technical, innovative and practical solutions of complex issues.
  • Strong IT Infrastructure experience focused on Networks, end user Services & User Experience
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements ITAM and Asset regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and collaborate to successfully deliver services to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing environment.
  • Experience in End user device handling.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 application.
  • Experience with maintaining working relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Knowledge and experience of incident / problem / change management
  • Proficiency with power BI and reporting tools and should be able to create relevant dashboards
  • Agile mindset, passionate about driving innovation and disrupting traditional way of working.
  • Experience with Agile methods, leading Pods and developing people with current & future skills.
  • A strong understanding of tools like Service Now, Proton, WebPm, Aternity, ABM and ARS.
  • Be proficient with Agile tools including JIRA and Confluence
  • Effectively co-ordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by other internal/external teams.
  • The following skills would also be an advantage:
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices.
  • Exposure to regulatory and compliance aspects of Asset Governance
