The Opportunity: 
The role has oversight over both the Existing and New to Bank Customer profiles as well as Request for Information (RFI) trigger and CSEM QA. Job Holder will be tasked to perform review in QA function for our High Risk / SCC files, Medium Risk, Standard Risk (Low) files. The QA role is to provide oversight of the file review and remediation work conducted by the CSU team / PAQC team.
What you’ll do: 

  • Conduct quality assurance activities on CDD profiles for all risk rating (SCC, High, Medium and Low risks).
  • Analyze quality assurance outcomes including error identification and categorization and report outcomes based on the prevailing guidelines as per pre-defined Checklist.
  • Review the quality of Source of Wealth (SoW), Source of Fund (SoF) reviews undertaken by analyzing the evidence presented.
  • Reviews transactions where judgment is applied to conduct commercial reviews on FCCRAM High Risk/PEP/SCC to evaluate that the cost of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) is justified. 
  • Evaluate outcome of the reviewed profiles and calculate profile score based on the scoring methodology.
  • Demonstrate compliance, by understanding and gathering all the required information, with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures to conduct HBMY WPB reviews were applied during the BRCM reviews. 
  • Prepare and coordinate preparation of Key Risk MI Reports and periodic / ad-hoc returns to Regional / Group Office.
  • Perform quality assurance review on Request for Information (RFI) trigger to ensure the quality of the response provided is in accordance with the standard requirement.
  • Conduct quality assurance review on CSEM cases and evaluate it in accordance with the given guideline.
  • Ensure all QA Findings are captured and recorded, and feedback is provided to the respective stakeholders on the QA review result. Perform trend analysis review for all QA review performed.
  • Update and maintain SharePoint.
  • Prepare necessary materials for workshop and support logistics when required.
  • Manage the overall business risk and control management initiatives, to be in line with the relevant internal and external regulatory requirement with regards to CDD framework, whilst supporting the aggressive business growth objectives of our WPB business.
Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role: 

  • Diploma or basic university degree. 
  • With skillset in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Preferable with working experience in banking with basic knowledge in retail banking products, particularly in wealth products and AML/ Sanctions/ CDD end-to-end process. 
  • Curious thinking and preferably with a risk mindset/ risk control experiences to handle tasks with investigative nature.
  • Able to apply the common sense and logical thinking when handling the tasks.
  • Fluency in English..
