We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

 

The Opportunity:  

You will be part of a task force responsible for managing post trade support activities such as intersystem break investigation, trade validations, resolve trade discrepancies, brokerage payments, client reports preparation and collateral static maintenance.

Leverages the expertise needed to resolve issues/exceptions/queries, through explaining the business rationale and facts, and justifying urgency. Influences others to help deliver results.

 

What you’ll do:     

  • Responsibilities include but not limited to supervise the operation team to process trade/cashflow/custodian or other local reconciliations between internal vs external systems accurately and timely in banking systems or EUCs. Products include SGE, SHFE, bond future, standard bond forward, etc.

  • Supervise the brokerage fee validation, obtain business approval, raising Fusion payment requests and relevant MIs.

  • Managing the client related reports and gold loan margin reports been sent to internal stakeholder promptly and accurately.

  • Make sure the static maintenance performed correctly and timely.

  • Interact with stakeholders to resolve trade discrepancies and escalation issues.

  • Ability to apply judgment to operational situations in a fast-paced environment to drive progress.

  • Identify potential financial risk to the bank and ensure proper resolution is achieved within the bank’s guidelines.

  • Timely escalation when necessary for issues that may cause financial loss to the bank or that could affect client relationships.

  • Ensure adequate support for effective management of KRIs (Key Risk Indicator), to minimize risk e.g. Inter-system breaks, confirmation long pending unsigned.

Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:       

  • A degree in Business or Finance would be preferred.

  • 3-5 years of banking experience would be recommended.

  • Strong understanding of the market products.

  • Added advantage would be prior back office experience of Markets products.

  • Ability to work with multiple functions and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively identify, assess and resolve complex operational challenges, ensuring seamless support of operation activities and compliance with regulatory requirement.

  • Hands on experience of executing operating models.

  • Strong awareness and appreciation to operations risk and control and exception management.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage local and international relationships across an organization.

  • Attention to detail and a hands-on approach to management to work with local managers driving process change and improve efficiency and control.

  • Drive and work in a good team spirit.

  • Create reliable connectivity with team members and peers group. 

 

What additional skills will be good to have?     

  • Understanding of Markets Operations is an added advantage.

  • Able to work in a demanding and time sensitive environment.

  • Hands on experience of operations processing is an advantage.
