  • We are currently seeking for an ambitious individual to join the Product Development team in the role of AVP (GCB 5) who can contribute significantly in that journey.

The Opportunity:

  • This role is aligned to Product Development team in MSS Ops, Data & Regulatory Reporting, which supports all automation requirements and strategic solutions across Data Ops domains like Accts & SSI, Instrument and Pricing as well as TnTR, TCFC, Collateral and Tax Ops teams.
  • The incumbent needs to have expertise as an Agile Product Owner as well as good technical knowledge, whereby collaborating with all senior business stakeholders to identify opportunities, oversee requirement gathering and delivery of solutions to address operational pain areas, reduce manual processing and increase efficiency.

What you’ll do:

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Role incumbent should be flexible to work as per business requirement as part of the Product Development team which provides coverage to APAC, UK and Americas business areas.

The key responsibilities are:

  • Oversee all initiatives i.e. new opportunities, change & production fixes across DaRR products.
  • Act as the primary point of contact i.e. Product Owner, using their high-level perspective to define goals and create a vision / roadmap for delivery of solutions.
  • Managing the product backlog and prioritizing user stories based on business requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with Stakeholders / Sr. Management to achieve the business goals & outcomes.
  • Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables as well as collaborate with IT colleagues.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance & Client demos on product functionality.

STAKEHOLDERS:

  • Maintain effective relationship with business areas and identify areas of service improvements by implementing regular working group calls and feedback.
  • Influence and escalate key customer issues in an effective way to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide for strong support to NFR team, internal & external audit reviews.
  • Address any adhoc queries in a timely manner based on priority.
Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Proven track record as Product owner, overseeing development team and working with stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap.
  • Should be well versed with SDLC model, Testing Strategy and Deployment Strategy.
  • Outstanding problem solving & analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of working with multiple IT pods along with product delivery.
  • Working knowledge of GoJira to create and maintain product backlog as well as confluence.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to understand business requirements, manage escalations and challenges.
  • Agile certifications required, like CSPO or equivalent.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of front end & back end development as well as API management and web technologies will be an added advantage.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg & Reuters
  • Knowledge of Financial products (Debt Markets / Options / Equities / FX/ Derivatives/ Money Markets)
  • Knowledge of Trade Lifecycle
  • Exposure to various Regulatory Requirements
  • Experiences of conducting UAT’s & creation of Test cases
  • Analytical Skills
  • Presentation Skills
