  • The role is in RWA VS. Programme vision is to create a self-service platform for the distribution of trusted data for Finance. It will be a key enabler of finance transformation, regulatory compliance, and the provision of business insight. The Global Finance Change Sr. Business Analyst would facilitate Change, Design and Delivery while working closely with Finance data refineries and its stakeholder, technology and business teams. The Sr  BA will work closely with locally and in-country stakeholders, to undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis to establish clear requirements from the business; manage and translate design changes effectively throughout the project lifecycle and ultimately ensure that change programmes achieve their objectives and deliver the anticipated benefits to the organization. Role would also support RWA design lead.
  • The Global Finance Change FDS Sr. BA is experienced in Business and design Analysis work and can guide others effectively. The role holder has a good understanding of approaches, tools, and techniques for managing and reviewing business requirements, understanding of solution design cycle. The candidate should be able to select and apply the approach according to context.

The Opportunity:

  • This role is within the Design capability for RWA VS. Requirement Analysis & Design team is a team formed under change delivery and this role is expected to support RWA design & implementation work in India.
  • The Global Finance Change FDS Sr. Business Analyst ensures the team meets performance targets that are aligned to programme/project objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Facilitate and Support RWA design and requirements book of work.
  • Work on finding the optimal design solution of the requirements by interacting with different stakeholders
  • Ensuring all the requisite project documents (business architectures, functional designs, L2 solution, technical design, etc) are prepared & maintained
  • Involved in the various stages of Change Delivery cycle (design, testing, implementation)
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure they understand the design/functionality of the changes
  • Engage with the stakeholders in obtaining the sign off the requisite changes.
  • Ensure all the project related risks are highlighted to the management on time
  • Ensuring agreed design timeline are met as per the deadlines by the team.
  • Ensure that the project is delivered within budget, time and free from defects
  • Ensure that any risk & issue is escalated as and when required

Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Experience in Data Management and Data Architecture.
  • Experience in Data Modelling.
  • Knowledge of handling complex banking finance data structures.
  • Understanding of design, reporting processes and systems
  • Worked with a large Global Finance team that delivers complex and transformational finance change.
  • Strong documentation skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience in the delivery of change with excellent business analysis capabilities and a track record of
  • successfully being involved in complex change projects with cross functional impacts and dependencies
  • Drive, motivation and commitment.
  • Understanding of HSBC group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives
  • Good knowledge of the external reporting environment
  • Understanding of the HSBC operating model at Group, country and business level
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to handle multiple outputs at the same time
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with proven experience of communicating effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group in a complex global environment.
  • Able to operate effectively under pressure and navigate ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills

What additional skills will be good to have

  • Candidates having techno functional background will be preferred.
