We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Office of Asia and Middle East Co-CEOs.

Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will

  • Support to the Chief of Staff to facilitate and enable Co-CEO and/or other C-suite members to effectively and efficiently execute the management agenda, including but not limited to: internal and external communications, executive briefings, speaker notes, planning overseas visits (and visits from inbound executives) and client engagements in conjunction with the local markets and business representatives
    Optimise the Co-CEO's schedule, focusing on enhancing engagement with relevant Boards, Group management, the regional OpCo, and market CEOs
  • Organise and attend regional/cross-entity and/or project meetings, ensuring actions and initiatives and seen through to execution
  • Providing support for various Board duties and materials, as required
  • Lead and manage special projects as assigned by the Chief of Staff, ensuring successful completion and alignment with strategic goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with key stakeholders across Asia and the Middle East, including relevant regional and market business and infrastructure teams
  • Resolution of ad-hoc tactical issues: day-to-day business problem solving for fast paced execution
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Good understanding of the financial services industry, including key trends, client segmentation, P&L, balance sheet, etc
  • Strong understanding of the HSBC’s businesses and presence in Asia and Middle East region, especially mainland China and Hong Kong; Proactive, resilience, and able to work independently and collaboratively cope with sustained pressure, across different levels of HSBC
  • Strong problem-solving skills with strong conceptual, highly structured and analytical capabilities to deal with high level of ambiguities.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively; Attention to detail and an appetite to dive into issues in depth as needed
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organisation, influencing and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese preferred
