We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist

 In this role, you will:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Associate Director, Software Engineering to lead and drive the development of robust, scalable, and innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, future-ready architectures. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead teams, set technical standards, and ensure alignment with organizational goals while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture design in alignment with the Future State Architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and robustness.
  • Establish, document, and implement best practices for end-to-end application initiation and deployment processes.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and improve development processes.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving project requirements.
  • Actively participate in relevant project meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure deliverables meet Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance, reliability, and security.
  • Ensure robust solutions are developed while reducing technical debt.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and ensure the team benefits from emerging technologies and practices.
  • Ensure assigned work packages (EPICs, Stories, Sub-Tasks) align with the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
  • Ensure high-quality testing automation (e.g., Unit, Functional) is implemented at agreed levels for delivered outputs.
  • Influence teams to deliver technically excellent solutions, adhering to principles like DRY, SOLID, and Clean Code.
  • Manage and prioritize the technical backlog, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Set and enforce standards for code quality, security, and scalability.
Requisitos

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Over 12+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on software engineering and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
  • Deep knowledge of DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Practical experience with version control, automation, and orchestration tools like GIT, Jenkins, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
  • Advanced coding abilities in Python.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering, pipeline architecture, and ETL methodologies.
  • Experience with Machine Learning Models (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), and orchestration frameworks to build pipelines.
  • Experience integrating ML capabilities into traditional applications.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow as a platform, including plugins around TPRM, BCM, and GRC and its integration capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across teams to achieve results.
  • Collaborative team member, comfortable working across functions and engaging with domain experts.
  • Strong adaptability to work with international teams and diverse cultures.
