Principal Responsibilities

Purpose of the Job:

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as the CTO Enablement Connectivity Lead Asia which is an important role with major responsible for managing the daily operation, project delivery and fulfillment of network domain in Asia.

The CTO Enablement Connectivity lead Asia is responsible for overseeing the CTO Enablement Connectivity teams in the Asia Pacific markets. The CTO enablement Connectivity Lead Asia will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure that CTO network solutions are aligned with the bank's overall strategy, and that the region's CTO needs are met. The CTO Enablement Connectivity Asia will also be responsible for ensuring that CTO network solutions and changes are delivered on time and within budget and meeting customer needs – taking the lead in region on delivery of technology solutions and changes. A strong focus on resilience and operational efficiency is expected.

The person in this role will be commercially astute, an excellent communicator and able to partner strongly with executive level business stakeholders.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Leading the technology professionals in the region, ensuring that they are aligned with the bank's overall strategy, and that their work is focused on delivering the highest quality technology solutions
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other regional tech leads, various platform leads, and other senior stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions are aligned with the bank's overall strategy, and that the region's technology needs are met
  • Operational Efficiency: Identification of existing process gaps and work with the service owners to eliminate the toils and excel on the customer experience
  • Innovation: Drive technology innovation and transformation in the region, ensuring that the bank is using the latest technologies to improve customer experiences and streamline operations
  • Project Management: Oversee technology projects in the region, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget. Identify and mitigate risks, and ensure that project stakeholders are kept up-to-date on project progress
  • Compliance: Ensure that technology solutions in the region are compliant with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards
  • Vendor and Carrier Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors in the region, ensuring that they are delivering high-quality solutions and services that meet the bank's needs
Requisitos
  • Strong depth and breadth of technology knowledge, with direct experience providing operational support across Telecommunications Services/Connectivity is preferred
  • Stakeholder management skills with a focus on building consultative relationships, and collaborating directly with a variety of customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority (service owners, vendors, business customer, compliance, regulator etc.)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, including Country and Regional CIOs
  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely, suitable for all levels across the HSBC group
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing activities, schedules and work loads
  • Ability to simultaneously coordinate and complete multiple projects through an organized and process oriented approach
