This role is a part of the relationship management team and a key support role to provide an outstanding customer experience to the valuable GPB clients and increase Relationship Manager (RM) client facing time. The role provides dedicated support to a team of Relationship Managers in the overall achievement of their KPIs, covering activity management, client satisfaction, sales quality, acquisition, recurring income and total relationship growth of their portfolios.
In this role, you will:
• Pro-actively support the Private Banker with the account opening documentation for both onshore and offshore accounts.
• Better understanding of the standard operation systemin order to deal with the control unit. To ensure that transfers instructions are sent on time before the deadline.
• Prepare a Master data for all the outstanding client account documentation in order to execute the follow up on regular intervals.
• Ensure all CRM’s (KYC’s) exist and are up to date for both onshore and offshore private banking accounts. Annual account reviews to be performed in accordance with MLPP guidelines.
• Pro-actively ensure all discrepant documents are followed up and cleared within the approved deadline.
• Maintain all the basic details of the client contacts in a file where the same can be updated on regular intervals as agreed with the business.
• Ensure to resolve the queries raised by the customer, wherever the intervention of the private banker is not required.
• Initiate and input transactions with clients based on their instructions, follow up settlement and confirm execution in respect with sales and dealing regulations.
• Imparting training to the new joiners in the team with the system knowledge procedure and processes of the back-office functioning and take initiative in assisting the co-worker within the group. Try to do cross training between different units of the company to help the other units during the crisis period. To train the new recruits and completely make them aware of the systems and procedures.
• Taking forward the business leads from the other business units and converting the same to a prospective one with the company.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
• Prior experience working in financial industry and excellent understanding of core products, GPB proposition, and familiar with retail and wealth product processes
• Strong interpersonal and empathy skills with strong decision making and ability to deliver
• Non-Arabic Speaker preferred
• Understanding of relationship management systems (CRM and RM Platform etc.)
• Solid knowledge of appropriate branch operational procedures
• Money Laundering Awareness Certificate held
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory governance in market
• Knowledge of the Bank’s lending systems such as CARM, CLM & Security Processing, when applicable to the markets
• Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations
• Able to deliver the client experience and needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills
