International Customer Onboarding (ICO) is the engine powering the International customer growth. It is a capability for customers to open accounts cross border (i.e. pre-departure) and aims to revolutionize the ICO capability to make it simpler, more accessible, painless and instantaneous. We are now looking for an full stack engineering specialist with mobile native and API skillset who is important to 2025 customer onboarding platform deliveries for above business vision.

The Opportunity:

Mobile and API SME Development role takes responsibility for delivery of customer acquisition and employee benefit solution. The job holder contributes in successful delivery of projects and collaborate with multiple development Pods. The responsibilities entail areas such as requirement analysis, design and development (coding) and technology sharing. This SME should be aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory, architecture standards and operational risk.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Develop and maintain responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
• Design and implement Mobile Native journey and robust APIs to support frontend functionalities.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure application reliability and functionality.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and server issues.
• Implement security best practices to protect application data and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Apply Gen AI technologies to enhance day-to-day development and delivery.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities and use cases where Gen AI can add value to our products and processes.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and scope.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Offer production support to ensure smooth operation of applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of Mobile Native and web applications.
• Strong knowledge of back-end development using languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Proficient in database management with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Gen AI technologies and their applications.
• Ability to integrate Gen AI solutions into software development and identify potential use cases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
