The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical SME to collaborate with our technical lead and product owner in driving all infrastructure activities.

What you’ll do:

• Strong communication with written/spoken English.
• Familiar with public cloud e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure cloud etc.
• Hands-on experience on writing infrastructure as code (e.g. terraform) ,automation and streamline tasks (e.g. jenkins, ansible, GIT).
• Good knowledge in DevOps including SHELL, Python ,Terraform and CICD.
• Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous activities.
• Build and manage the platform to enable application deployments on cloud (e.g. GCP)
• Ensure compliancy with operational risk standards adhering to HSBC policies (E.g. Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency).
• Troubleshoot infrastructure related incidents; pursue root cause analysis and problem resolution through coordinated with team.
• Research new technologies, assessing maturity and alignment of the technology to business.

• Good written/spoken English and team work.
• Public Cloud infrastructure engineer experience e.g. GCP,AWS,Azure.
• Strong Devops background e.g. terraform,script,python,jenkins,ansible,CICD,etc.
• Work closely with team member and Infrastructure Architect to deliver technologies and services.
• Explore on new technologies and tools with the implementation.
• Good troubleshooting skills,pursue root cause analysis and problem resolution.
