We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in financial markets and trading systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring the successful delivery of our trading platform.

What you’ll do:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
•  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
•  Analyze and translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for the engineering team.

Domain Expertise:
•    Provide subject matter expertise in FX cash, FX derivatives, fixed income, equities, and structured products.
•    Understand market conventions, trading workflows, pricing models, risk management, and regulatory requirements.

Technical Collaboration:
•    Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
•    Participate in design discussions and provide input on system architecture and data models.

Process Improvement:
•    Identify opportunities to optimize trading workflows and system functionality.
•    Propose innovative solutions to enhance platform performance and user experience.

Documentation:
•    Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.

Testing and Validation:
•    Assist in defining test cases and validating system functionality against business requirements.
•    Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure successful deployment of features.

Stakeholder Communication:
•    Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
•    Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and deliverables.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

Domain Knowledge:
•    Strong understanding of financial markets, trading workflows, and products, including FX cash, FX derivatives, fixed income, equities, and structured products.
•    Familiarity with pricing models, risk management, and regulatory compliance in trading.

Technical Skills:
•    Experience working with trading platforms, order management systems (OMS), or execution management systems (EMS).
•    Basic understanding of software development processes, APIs, and data structures.
•    Proficiency in SQL is a plus.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
•    Ability to analyze complex business problems and propose effective technical solutions.
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Communication Skills:
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Ability to create clear and concise documentation.

Experience:
•    5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or trading platforms.
•    Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

What additional skills will be good to have? 

•    Experience with electronic trading platforms and FIX protocol.
•    Knowledge of market data providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters) and integration with trading systems.
•    Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and microservices.
