We value specialism but we also expect our team members to do whatever it takes to get the job done. That might mean doing the analysis for a story, or working on changing a front-end component even if you are a specialist server-side developer. Whilst this may put you outside of your comfort zone , we have found that this is a great opportunity to learn - there are plenty of people to help and you will always find someone that is willing to pair with you.  You're never on your own!

 

The Opportunity:

A normal week for a developer in this role would be to discuss requirements with their team, code, test and deploy changes to production 2 or 3 times, monitor their code in production, and showing changes to their product owner. Senior developers can also act as a technical lead, proposing solutions to difficult problems and helping to deliver them as part of the team.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Provide solutions to difficult problems and helping to deliver them as part of the team.
  • Deliver code to production as part of the team.
  • Partner with senior developers to drive code delivery to production and boost our platform's functionality.
  • Work with business stakeholder and PO when required and ensure the requirement is fully understood and able to break down the requirement to small deliverable items.
  • Work out the delivery roadmap and MVP and ensure the team focus to get incremental value in production.
  • Manage the technical debt proactively and ensure the security and vulnerability be handled well.
  • Continue to improve and grow the team.
  • Share best practice across teams.
Requisitos

  • Continue improving things.
  • Highly proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • Java and related technologies, such as building and using REST API’s
  • HTTP and related technologies, such as REST principles
  • Software security principles
  • Automated testing
  • Experience with relational databases

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Be challenging and lead as example to push things forward
