An End to End Credit Risk Management Business Service for Operating entities across the HSBC Group in Commercial Banking (CMB) and Global Banking & Markets (GBM)
It spans across the entire Credit Risk management Value Chain starting from Preparation and On-boarding of a Credit Application in the Bank’s system and financial spreading followed by Credit Disbursement, Risk Monitoring, Control and Management.
The Opportunity:
The purpose of this role is to support the management of credit service teams for ASP and Hong Kong including
Business relationship with key stakeholders in LOBs, risk teams, regional and etc
Supporting key change/transformation projects aligning with strategic objectives of CS&CMU, responsible for project tracking, project management & governance.
Outsourcing management.
Tracking of key performance indicators timely and accurate sharing of all MI and reports
Supporting People development, Finance & Budgeting, Learning & Development.
Supporting the engagement and governance forums within Wholesale business
Policies and controls for managing a range of risks including regulatory, financial crime, conduct fraud and operational.
What you’ll do:
Ensure support to the wholesale credit operations in HASE and ASP wider business area.
Liaise with necessary stakeholders, as required, both internal and external for effective and timely management of operations activities as well as HASE and ASP level projects, responsible for project tracking & governance.
Ensure effective and appropriate structure in MI reporting, which fully and accurately represents risk/achievement of key business deliverables.
Facilitate the sharing and implementation of standard tools and best practices across the Business team.
Assist in the Wholesale Credit Services budgeting, support Wholesale Credit Services billing and recharging management, commentary on services exception and monitor path to green.
Facilitate management of Wholesale Credit Services’ Risk control Assessment as first line of defense by ensuring that operational risk is effectively identified, monitored and managed.
Assist in capacity planing and management to ensure the cost effective processing by delivering efficient, high quality service within Service Level Agreements and to pre-determined critical timescales.
Providing necessary support to Business engagement/ Governance forums regarding to Recruitment / People / Capability Development / BRCM / Business.
What you will need to succeed in the role:
A resilient, self-starter capable of driving performance.
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Excellent project management skill and a proven track record in delivery.
Strong financial management capability is preferable.
Operations Management or related Business Management experience is required.
Highly effective in working with all levels of management and staff and in a matrix environment.
Ability to leverages resources outside of direct control to achieve goals.
Operates well across cultures and in multi-cultural diverse work environments.
Demonstrates clear evidence of the importance of managing risk and the competence to deliver it.
Chinese proficiency is required.
