We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) with expertise in transformation and business analysis to join our dynamic team.
 
This role focuses on driving continuous improvement initiatives and delivering committed outcomes in cybersecurity processes, systems, and strategies. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of cybersecurity with strong business analysis and transformation skills to enhance operational efficiency, mitigate risks, and align security practices with organizational goals.

In this role you will:
 
•    Serve as a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, providing insights and recommendations to optimize security frameworks and practices.
•    Lead transformation initiatives by identifying areas for improvement, designing innovative solutions, and implementing process enhancements.
•    Conduct business analysis to assess current cybersecurity workflows, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable strategies.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement in security operations, tools, and policies.
•    Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation efforts and ensure committed outcomes are achieved.
•    Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats, technologies, and industry trends to inform proactive improvements.
•    Facilitate cross-functional stakeholder engagement, including workshops and presentations, to align transformation projects with business objectives.
•    Document processes, create reports, and provide training or guidance to support adoption of new systems or practices.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
 
•    Extensive experience in cybersecurity operations or service delivery management and proven experience in Third Party Security Assessment is mandatory
•    Demonstrable expertise in business transformation, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
•    Demonstratable end to end transformation experience with process engineering and implementation.
•    Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
•    In-depth knowledge and application of HSBC Risk Prioritization Matrix (RPM), cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS 4.0).
