We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Leakage Prevention Policy Lead.

The Cyber Security Technology function supports a number of technologies and services across a globally dispersed team. This includes cryptography and encryption technology, Data Loss Prevention, Security Infrastructure and vulnerability management.  These collective teams assure critical functions and billions of pounds worth of transactions across the organization.

In this role you will:

•    Support the establishment of HSBC as a valued contributor to information sharing efforts across the industry that helps to drive a positive image of the bank with our peers and regulators in the markets we serve.
•    Support engagement of Global Businesses and Functions everywhere HSBC does business, that drives a global up-lift in cybersecurity awareness, helping to “tell the story” Of HSBC Cybersecurity efforts.
•    Support engagement within the Lines of Defense Risk Management framework adopted by HSBC, to ensure complete transparency and effective working relationships across all lines of defense.
•    Train, develop and mentor less experienced analysts both in the cybersecurity space and in the wider business.
•    Manage the Data at Rest service engagement process.
•    Work with lines of business to understand requirements for scanning.
•    Work with the policy generation team to create new policies.
•    Work with the lines of business to organize and onboard them into the Data at Rest scanning process.
•    Organize the global resources who execute and deliver the data scan results.
•    Assist with new innovations and development initiatives in the Data at Rest portfolio.
•    Manage the migration of new tooling into the BAU phase as part of the handover tot eh Services team.
•    Help to drive improvements in service and customer usability of data security product offerings.
•    Provide MI and KXI information and reports for senior management on data security tooling and reporting.
 

Requisitos

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Extensive experience in Data Security Engineering is mandatory
•    Experience on DLP products such as Symantec DLP, Proofpoint DLP with hands-on experience for deployment of data discovery tools.
•    Experience on Data Security Policy Creation, Analysis and updates
•    Demonstrable experience on Data in Motion and/or Data at Rest Security.
•    Experience in leading teams
•    Ability to build strong relationships and communicate on complex IT Security issues with a wide spectrum of stakeholders.

This role is based in Sheffield.
