Join CIB Business Risk’s AI and Emerging Technology team in a global leadership role shaping how we redesign risk processes and deliver strategic transformation—particularly across data and AI enablement. You’ll work directly with Managing Directors and senior leaders to drive outcomes-lead programmes end-to-end, ensuring strong governance, clear value measurement, and reusable-by-design solutions that strengthen risk management across CIB.
In this role you will:
- Lead discussions on risk process redesign with risk leadership, technology, and 1st/2nd Line colleagues to define the future state for Business Risk.
- Partner with senior Business Risk leadership to define outcomes, measures, and decision points that support strong return on investment and responsible execution.
- Lead product owner and delivery teams to translate plans into requirements and drive execution through to delivery.
- Run workshops, working groups, and governance committees covering programme architecture, business case submission, requirements gathering, and delivery oversight.
- Ensure new projects are strategically aligned to the overall Business Risk architecture/model, maintaining linkages across dependencies to create an end-to-end view.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders (business, operations, technology, data, risk, compliance) to resolve complex issues and remove delivery blockers.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and quality assurance across a distributed team and stakeholder network- both as advisory to more senior stakeholders on how to create and align projects, to the team as leader and mentor as well as to other risk areas outside of CIB to improve standards across the board and ensure consistency.
- Identify systemic risks and control gaps in programs and ensure all stakeholders are aware, propose mitigations and aid in decision making by ensuring a full picture of the issues are being communicated.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Business Risk processes (preferably within CIB), with logical architecture experience and transformation experience within risk.
- Significant experience in transformation and delivery roles across business risk programs
- Background in technology or experience leading technology programmes, with strong awareness of modern technologies and their opportunities.
- Proven ability to operate at Director level, influencing decisions across multiple functions and geographies.
- Strong understanding of risk and control expectations in a regulated bank, including experience engaging with 2nd and/or 3rd Line of Defence.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-year programmes with complex dependencies, plus strong analytical and communication skills (including senior governance materials/forums).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including producing concise materials for senior governance forums and leading senior governance forums.
- Experience working with data-related strategic programs (data governance, data ownership, data quality, lineage, or AI-enabled use cases) and translating it into business-operating requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with a track record of delivering outcomes at pace.
The pay range for this role is 31,225 PLN - 46,841.67
Additional car allowance in the amount of 7,663 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
