We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Director of Communications, IC Strategic Content, Planning and Channels.

The Director of Communications, IC Strategic Content, Planning & Channels, leads an interconnected portfolio of communications activity. A key member of the Global Internal Communications leadership team, reporting to the Global Head of Internal Communications.

In this role you will:

•  Deliver the vision, strategy and operational plan to help our IC content and channels work smarter, and have greater impact.
•  Shape IC strategic content, managing and innovating IC channels, effective planning, coordination & governance, and measuring impact and effectiveness.
•  Oversee and govern the systems and platforms that enable global internal communications across HSBC.
•  Set and embed internal communications standards across HSBC.
•  Partner with businesses and markets to deliver creative internal communication that drives engagement and supports business success.

Requisitos

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•  Experience of working at ‘Communications Director’ or ‘Head of Communications’ level.
•  Proven experience in providing communications counsel for senior stakeholders in complex, global organisations with significant reputational risk issues.
•  An experienced leader who can consistently deliver superior team performance, identify and develop talent and work collaboratively with peers.
•  Ability to understand business issues and devise communication solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connections to other issues.
•  An innovator – a strong desire to introduce new ideas.
