We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Division Head, Early-Stage Banking.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Responsible for the strategy, communicating external market trends and dynamics internally, delivering exceptional growth and our vision of being the most sought-after digital age partner for pre–Series A companies
  • Overall functional lead for the ESB team, providing strategic guidance on developing the business and effectively articulate our overall value proposition. Demonstrate knowledge of the industry, relevant technology sectors, and the current investment/fundraising market
  • Call on clients, prospects and referral sources including VC/Seed/Angels & Accelerators to build or expand relationships. Maintain and build an extensive network of business contacts, including the venture community and other community leaders
  • Lead, motivate and coach a team of RMs with a goal of delivering strong financial results while managing the overall health of the portfolio
  • Collaborate with colleagues to refine and improve products, processes and procedures that impact clients
Requisitos

To be successful you will need:

  • University graduate with strong, proven origination skills to build a high-quality client portfolio. Experience in line managing and leading a team
  • With experience working in the venture capital and/or tech and innovation start-up ecosystem
  • Expert Relationship Management skills with companies within the Technology and Innovation Sectors
  • Strong finance, analysis and commercial lending experience, including the ability to understand and negotiate credit terms
  • Excellent all-round knowledge of banking products
  • Passionate about technology start-ups and the venture ecosystem
  • Stakeholder management skills paired with a clear and efficient communication style
  • Fluency in both English and Cantonese, with additional proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
