In this role you will:
- Evaluate and reconcile information from various sources, distinguishing user needs from underlying requirements.
- Define, document, review and obtain sign-off for requirements for internal and client-requested change, partnering with IT, Product, Operations and external vendors.
- Facilitate workshops and produce process maps as part of the requirement gathering process
- Support product backlog refinement and track delivery progress using tools like Jira, Microsoft Teams and Confluence.
- Support technical solutions and system configurations, including supporting go-live and post-implementation activities.
- Prepare test scripts/scenarios and manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and regression testing.
- Support the deployment of the HSBC ETF platform across the European markets performing gap analysis and defining system enhancements.
- Identify risks and opportunities to streamline end-to-end processes, improving efficiency and the client experience in line with the product roadmap.
- Maintain an up-to-date action log and provide regular status reporting to working-level governance forums.
You should apply if you have:
- 4+ years’ Business Analyst experience within Securities Services (funds/asset servicing/custody).
- ETF experience, including understanding of the ETF order lifecycle (trading through settlement) and the ETF service model.
- Experience eliciting and documenting requirements, managing stakeholders, and supporting testing/UAT.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and/or SaaS providers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver change in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the Irish funds industry.
- Knowledge of fund accounting, transfer agency and custody processes.
- Technical awareness (e.g., APIs, SWIFT, SFTP).
