Your career opportunity
Consultant Specialist will be allocating his/her time to Run The Bank activity as well as Change The Bank activity while supporting EU and UK payments and domestic clearing related services. Day-to-day activity includes consultancy, lower environment support and management, project support, technical L2 and L3 support, Service Management, Quality Assurance, security patching and supporting a wide range of other activities (such as Change Management, Risk and Control, design, testing, Business Analysis etc). As a Consultant Specialist you’ll play an important role in the service provision, its delivery as well as overseeing its health and sustainability. What you’ll do
- Project consultancy and support.
- Delivery and deployment of services, system maintenance and service management activities of payments related services.
- Application, business process and data intelligence while supporting day-to-day project work or Operations and its processes.
- Organize and manage change activity (scoping the change work, planning its implementation, arrangements with impacted interfacing parties, assessment of service/customer impact etc).
- Build and maintain the knowledge in a form of Confluence, manuals, JIRA stories and other knowledge articles.
- Maintain and manage middleware layers such as Microsoft IIS, WAS or IBM MQs/Message Broker or transformation extenders such as IBM EAI.
- Lead, grow and co-ordinate the team of individuals.
- Create functional, technical or business process related documentation.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Min. 2 year of experience in the area of technology support and technology & services deployment.
- Ability of providing the attention to the detail.
- DevOps (pipeline) management experience (using GitHuB, Git, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Jira, Confluence and G3) would be an advantage,
- Experience with the configuration of Linux and Windows Servers and its middleware.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environment.
- Understanding of XML, JSON, XSD, XML schema.
- Experience with Agile tools such as (GitHub, Confluence and Jira).
