We develop, implement and support software and IT services and processes that allow HSBC to remain at the forefront of high-quality banking systems. We develop and maintain systems for HSBC’s global businesses, as well as support functions such as Finance, HR and Risk. We work across a range of technology platforms and development disciplines, from mainframe to mobile technologies.

Our team includes software engineers and developers, architects, testers, IT and business analysts, consultants and programme and project managers, as well as team leadership and management roles. We employ people in almost all the countries and territories in which HSBC operates.

The IT PMO Manager will act as the liaison among the Finance, PMO, Delivery, Engineering & Business Management teams located across the world. Person will be responsible for project finance data tracking, maintenance & reporting as well as finance data deep-dive analysis & system feeds. 


What you’ll do
    • Actuals, Accruals & Finance forecasting submitted on schedule and with attention to quality measures.
    • Forecast vs Actual spend analysis & preparation of the month end commentary for Business.
    • Monitor and report on forecast, actuals, and the overall financial standing versus project deliveries.
    • Timely updates of system feeds.
    • Resource and portfolio management. Support recruitment and ramp of the team. Manage the collection, collation and processing of status update from stakeholders.
    • Manage and update process documents and information sources.
    • Coordination of the regular project and programme level reporting.
    • Risk and issue monitoring and co-ordination on project finance.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Experience in Project Management Office or related functions for more than 5 years.
    • Strong ability to analyse the data.
    • Strong presentation, summarization and analysis skills in terms of project management reports, including finance, cost, progress, RAID etc.
    • Positive 'can do' attitude, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
    • Strong communication skill, fluent in spoken and written English.
    • Previous experience using platforms such as JIRA, Confluence and Clarity
