Your career opportunity
The Global Open Banking Shared Service (OBSS) is a joint business and technology, cross line of business organisation responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of HSBC’s Open Banking operations globally. This role is within the product side of the team and its purpose is to work with country and regional Open Banking teams and OBSS Technology, acting as an MI Product Owner. This role involves operating within a small specialist team across all HSBC business areas and with a global capacity.
What you’ll do
- Builds effective working relationships with product owners and technical teams
- Acts as the golden source for all Open Banking MI
- Responsible for Open Banking regulatory reporting
- Identifies, logs, assesses and follows thourhg to resolution risks and issues relating to MI
- Ensures compliance with regulatory and business MI requriements
- Presents MI in a meaningful and easy to consume way
- Responsible for MI quality control
- Analyses MI to identify trends and produce actionable intelligence for business and technology stakeholders
- Analyses the market to identify relevant market trends
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives
- Understanding of HSBC’s strategy and the role of change programmes in delivering the strategy
- Strong understanding of banking / HSBC and understanding of how change drives benefits for HSBC, its customers and other stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of Power BI; a good understanding of the wider MS Power Platform Suite would be beneficial
- Good understanding of SAFe Principles. SAFe Product Owner certification highly desireable
- Ideally some experience with Splunk and AWS Insights
- Confident in the use of JIRA and Confluence
