Your career opportunity
As Transaction Services Expert, you will be responsible for managing complex and standard lending in Loan IQ for HSBC Continental Europe, supporting end-to-end credit customer journey across Corporate and Institutional Banking (‘CIB’).
The role will require you to manage operational activities with within defined Service Level Agreements (‘SLA’) and high-level quality, while ensuring that areas of operational risks are identified, monitored and managed effectively to enable business continuity. Adaptability to a changing environment and alignment of operation to strategic decisions will be key to succeed. 
The Credit Services Department is built with a highly experienced team of individuals who manages end-to-end process for loan and credit administration for both bilateral and syndicated deals for CIB. Credit Services fundaments are in providing credit & collateral management service for European markets while seeking continued innovations and improvement through digital solutions. 

What you’ll do
Manage all structured and syndicated loan files related to asset financing, LBOs, corporate loans, real estate developer loans, international trade-related loans, and buyer credits for standard & complex transactions. Scope of activities cover:
Draft initial versions of Deal Summary Templates (“DST”) in close collaboration with the Transaction Managers. 
Assist Transaction Managers in identifying the counterparties in a deal.
Produce operational comments on the Loan Agreement for the TMU/ISV Sector middle-office Teams.
Produce the final version of the DST on the basis of the executed version of the Loan Agreement signed on closing date and in collaboration when needed with the TMU/ISV Sector middle-office Teams.
Prepare and maintain up-to-date DSTs on instruction of TMU/ISV Sector Teams in particular each time an amendment to a Loan Agreement is signed, or a waiver decision occurs with an impact on the Loan Agreement static data.
Enter data into various management tools/systems.
Input of deals into the operating system (Loan IQ).
Process administrative events.
Establish refinancing contracts with the trading room.
Monitor generated payments.
Monitor pending items (principal, interest, fees).
Potential accounting adjustments through Group manual input tools.
Relationship management with pool banks and borrowers.
Handle deal closing.
Ensure compliance with HSBC rules (FIM, ethics).

What you need to have to succeed in this role
University degree in one of the following fields: Banking, Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Law.
Experience in banking industry and corporate credit area.
Knowledge of corporate finance, understanding of complex financial loan operations, proficiency with Loan IQ operating system, accounting knowledge.
Proven record of wide stakeholders’ management across international environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, rigor, efficiency, proactivity, dynamism, team spirit.
Good analytical skills, with ability to multi-task and manage several applications.
Problems solving skills, excellent communication and ability to work in a team.
Fluent English (oral and written). French would be an asset.
Proficiency of MS Office.

The pay range for this role is 10 000 PLN - 13 500 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
