This role will be responsible for model development of operational risk category models, making sure that models in use are fit for purpose. 
Responsibilities include leading development projects according to model life cycle, as well as model implementation, potentially becoming model owner for selected model(s).
The role holder is the natural successor to take responsibility of GRA TnO OpRisk as a whole and should prepare accordingly.


The role holder will / is expected to 
    • The presentation skills required to handle senior stakeholders.
    • Proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word (Microsoft Suite of Application).
    • Motivated self-starter with ability to work collaboratively within a team.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
    • Strong team-working skills, working in global teams across multiple time zones.
    • Willingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirements.
    • Identify issues, communicate them and assist in their resolution.
    • Assist in continuous improvement efforts in processes to ensure efficiency.
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation for internal reports and dashboards
    • Advanced Jira, and Confluence knowledge with experience in developing Agile metrics for different use cases and audiences (business users, managers, development teams)
    • Relationship management and influencing skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels;


What you’ll do
    • Be involved in the governance aspect of both, the models and the development function.
    • Lead a team of quant developers through model development projects, according to operating instructions.
    • Make sure that all model development related artifacts are produced, meet policy expectations, and are approved. This includes making sure that model documentation is up to date.
    • Lead the model implementation following best practice and retaining all tests evidence.
    • Organize, as needed, model development panel or model performance and reporting forum.
    • Liaise with stakeholders: model users, model validator, model risk lead and other providers and reviewers
