The Opportunity:

Role purpose

  • IWPB Business Financial Crime and Regulatory Risk (BFCRR) team is part of the WPB NFR area.  The BFCRR team is responsible for Financial Crime & Regulatory Risk areas such as, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Client Tax Reporting (CTR), Customer Selection & Exit Management (CSEM), FC Control Management, Emerging Risk Oversight, Policies and Procedures, Operations, Remediation and Transaction Management and Screening (TM&S).

  • The Comms, Governance and Reporting role is a key role supporting BAU Global WPB FC governance, the revitalized FCR plans (5x pillar framework), control and issues management. The role holder will be responsible for robust comms, reporting and governance activities across BFCRR, undertaking read across activities, ensuring key control indicators are calculated and reported accurately, supporting WPB’s training control and the periodic Enterprise Wide Risk Assessment. The role holder will work with x-functional, x-LoB SMEs.

What you’ll do:

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities (e.g., for Business, Customers and Stakeholders; internal control environment, etc.)

  • Ensure robust reporting and governance is in place for BFCRR teams

  • Ensure effective operation of read across activities to ensure IWPBs control framework remains robust

  • Ensuring IWPB Financial Crime metrics are calculated and reporting accurately to support effective oversight and assessment of WPB’s risk and control environment

  • Support IWPB’s training control to drive continuous improvement and critical thinking with respect to Financial Crime risk management

  • Support the periodic Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment process to assess IWPB’s risk profile and determine the ‘so what’ with respect to any identified key risk drivers

  • Support other IWPB programmes / projects to enable and support safe growth, and ensure IWPB’s risk and control environment remains robust

Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:

Functional Knowledge

  • Compliance, Assurance or Audit experience/exposure

  • Awareness of Compliance areas such as AML, sanctions, Tax, Regulatory Compliance requirements.

  • Strong analytical, reporting and governance skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of WPB business

  • Awareness of FIM governance

Others

  • Organisational complexity to manage end to end changes

  • Takes account of operational risk considerations.
