As a core member of the GPB&W COO leadership team, this a high profile and high visibility role bringing together the responsibility for several key cross-journey services, into a single unified function.

The role holder must be able to achieve effective engagement and traction with senior stakeholders both inside UK GPB&W and across the HSBC Group, building lasting relationships, influencing and challenging others without direct managerial authority and becoming a respected member of the wider UK WPB leadership team.

In this role you will:

•    Oversee strategic business change and development - promoting continued adoption of agile methodologies and prioritisation.
•    Use MI/Data, internal and external insights and relevant stakeholder feedback to inform key strategic business decisions within GPB&W.
•    Lead regular business planning, cost management and forecasting activities which may include financial, technological and resource planning requirements and projections.
•    Work with internal and external service providers to effectively and compliantly manage and evaluate their capabilities, monitor their performance and ensure SLAs are honoured.
•    Lead the creation, implementing and monitoring of internal governance activities relating to Tier 2 governance requirements alongside oversight and embedding of key local/global product governance requirements. 

Requisitos

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Current or previous experience of working directly in Private Banking or Wealth is desirable but not essential. 
•    Proven track record of making key strategic and tactical business decisions whilst balancing it with stakeholder/customer requirements, commercial viability and potential business risk - essential
•    Demonstrable experience of dealing effectively with complex commercial information and business challenges to create strategic business plans which deliver effective results - essential
•    Evidence of delivering significant business change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways.
•    A proven track record of leading and influencing others in not only fostering an environment that supports and inspires people to develop themselves and deliver long term results, but also in winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations - essential
