Global Payment Solution (GPS) Technology is one of the Service Lines under Wholesale Technology.  We are responsible for designing and building the infrastructure, and developing technical solutions to support our GPS business offering various cash management products to customers.  Besides, we have an Innovation team being ramped up to drive the technical delivery of various Innovation initiatives in GPS with technologies including, API, Cloud Technology and Java.
HSBC Digital Business Services is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. Digital Business Services combines global expertise and technology to help keep us ahead of the competition.

The Opportunity:

  • Provide technical expertise on analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of HSBC GPS system.
  • Ensure that systems are implemented in accordance with IT standards.
  • Ensure system complies with group policies and standards
  • Investigate and resolve problems arising in connection with IT services

 

What you’ll do:

  • Participate in delivering banking solutions including requirement gathering, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance

  •  

    To participate in development process including requirement gathering, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.

  •  

    To participate in low level design and conduct POC when necessary.

Requisitos
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, etc.).

  • Extensive hands-on experience within Agile projects, with a strong understanding of the Sprint, CI/CD and release testing lifecycles

  • Good Communication and coordination skills

  • Self-motivated team player with demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Risk management skills

  • Collaborative working style

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Effective English communication (reading, writing, speaking and listening), Cantonese (listening and speaking) would be an advantage

  • Strong team player who also has the ability to work under pressure, independently and proactively.

  • Knowledge in Payment processing
