Identity & Access Management (IAM) is part of the wider Cybersecurity function. IAM is a first line of defense function, that serves as the focal point in Cybersecurity for access related activities ensuring that HSBC’s electronic based assets are monitored, managed, accessed and protected effectively so that only those people with legitimate business need can access or modify them, when they need to do so.


The Opportunity:

The IAM Regulatory Manager role is responsible for oversight, monitoring, analysing and assessing potential or existing risk to IAM controls, providing related governance guidance and resolution assistance for the wider IAM team, Cybersecurity and the wider DBS organization. The role will assist in developing and maintaining strategies to liaise with regulators on a global scale thereby protecting the organisation, overseeing compliance measures to avoid information security risks to IAM and its customers.

What you’ll do:

• Engagement with regulators and IAM Regional leads globally
• Support the global team and build an end-to-end IAM regulatory management process and framework that is aligned to the Bank’s NFRO framework.
• Work closely with other cyber and tech teams ensuring strong communications are forged and maintained to mitigate associated regulatory risk.
• Advise on the delivery of IAM improvements, automation and future-state objectives with a regulatory lense. 
• Directly influence the operational effectiveness of the functional unit.
• Act as an initial point of contact for IAM regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to and actively support established policies and procedures.
• Support and embed change initiatives
• Lead team members and manage their performance process

Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal with experience in regulatory reporting
• Previous experience in regulatory risk role or similar.
• Experience of communication with regulators within the banking sector.
• Self-sufficient and strong motivation withing the context of the role and scope.


What additional skills will be good to have?

• Identity & Access Management Experience
• Regulatory, Risk & Issue Management Experience
• Technical background/degree
• Awareness/knowledge of relevant frameworks e.g. NIST, GDPR etc.
• Technical background with relevant certifications e.g. CISA, CISM, CGEIT etc.
• Previous audit/governance experience
