The role is accountable to INBB CIO for end to end ownership for the IT services, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet business journey requirements. The priority is to ensure IT operational resilience for the Fund Sales system and Broker Core system including all peripheral apps and systems that relate to INBB business.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

·        Be knowledgeable of the insurance and fund business models to be effective in selecting and implementing the most cost-effective solution.

·        Lead the supporting in identification and resolution to all incidents associated with the IT services in the best IT management practice. And ensure the IT services in a high resilience and sustainability against business NFR and SLA.

·        Hands-on engineering on tech management of brokerage and Health/ESG platforms, lead the team on IT service delivery from solution, development, deployment, release and to operation management under HSBC SDLC standards with top quality and resilience service.

·        Liaise with other delivery teams, architects, and business stakeholders in resolution of incidents and follow-up of future improvements to uplift our service resilience

·        Direct and oversee the agile IT release management to meet group requirement.

·        Manage intra-group Service agreement handling with SLA monitoring and service reporting, closely working with counterparts on outsourcing/contracting/billing/payment management.

·        Responsible for budgets and financial mgmt together with the INBB CIO, business planning, workforce management, affordability management, and productivity management. Represent the IT team on cost management and resource management related tasks. Possess a strong understanding on cost efficiencies and the various levers to use.

·        Work with global team on IT procurement spending proceeding in best practice.

·        Team’s BIA/BCP/BCE execution.

·        Work with the business distribution stakeholders for all relevant audits and be responsible for the remediations of system findings that are highlighted in the audits and internal inspections.

·        Ensure IT governance and control is established and in compliance. Ensure that all IT-related parts of Chinese regulatory requirements are fulfilled.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·        15+ years working experience within finance industry on IT Service management, with high mindset of compliance and risk control in banking and insurance industry.

·        Strong knowledge of agile delivery is preferred.

·        Extensive knowledge of Insurance Brokerage including fund sales and Health/ESG services and products

·        Strong track record of handling of complex project management, system integration and process optimization.  

·        Extensive knowledge and experience of business planning, workforce management, affordability management, and productivity management.

·        Excellent time management, planning and organization skills, strong navigation ability in complex situation and communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations, in both Chinese and English with stakeholders across different functions/depts.

·        Strong leadership skills, team builder and effective influencer.

·        Exposure and success working within a global matrix organization, strong mindset of intra-group service management.

·        Ability to think laterally & innovatively and find creative solutions, with a proactive approach to problem solving and delivery.

·        Great attention to details and strong capability to identify and manage risk.

·        Highly experienced in getting the best out of people at various levels.

·        Certification of IT management (ITIL expert) and management accountant (CMA) is preferred.

·        Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
