  • This position is under Group Treasury Transformation delivery which supports all regulatory changes, business as usual, system improvements and other key management activities to deliver the requisite requirements. This department is responsible to deliver and build system changes for end-to-end management of all liquidity risk and Interest rate risk changes along with other group treasury initiatives. This department cuts across Operations Team, Host Team, Group Treasury and ALCM Sites to produce key risk reporting metrics through simplified systems so that operational efficiency can be driven along with accuracy of numbers. Additionally, any Group Treasury initiatives which are impacting ALCM are managed through this department although it may not be directly linked with Liquidity Risk and Interest Rate Risk.

The Opportunity:

  • This is a Senior Business Analyst role where the role holder will be a part of Requirement & Design Team and will support Group Treasury platform initiatives: Basel 3 Reforms, Operational improvements, GBL/LOB solutions, SDI 2.3, sourcing of internal tickets and other projects entailing complex modelling requirements. This role will be focused to support global deliveries and providing holistic requirement gathering, design, solution, testing across Group Treasury platform and primarily focusing on sourcing, processing, re-platforming and modelling requirements of data, along with providing complex solutions and impact assessment.

What you’ll do:

Impact on the Business:

  • Independently understanding on Data requirements and designing the solution, update reference data tables and test the same through release cycle.
  • Use systematic thinking and creativity to support development of solution options.
  • Ensure successful end-to-end and timely implementation of BRD/CR.
  • Support group team to evaluate relative costs, benefits and obstacles of potential solutions before implementing.
  • Understand business and Finance priorities, drivers and challenges and how own project fits in.
  • Employ an improvement mindset to participate actively and constructively in the work of the team.

Customers / Stakeholders:

  • Work closely with senior business stakeholders (Ops, HOST IT, Group Treasury, Site IT, FCDP etc.) and understand their objective, priorities, and challenges.
  • Build effective working relationships within own team and with other colleagues.
  • Understand own stakeholders' objectives, direction, priorities, and challenges, managing and addressing concerns and objections.

Leadership & Teamwork:

  • Challenge design decisions when/where appropriate.
  • Supporting junior team members, provide training, guidance, and support.
  • Drive independently End-to-End requirement process of deliverables.
  • Establish rapport and build useful relationships with people in or outside the team.
Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • PQE for 10 years and been part of significant change initiatives preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of Asset Liability Management (ALM), Basel III, IRRBB Reporting and relevant regulatory changes in a global environment preferable
  • Strong Knowledge of Data Sourcing and structure of data is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial products (specifically Retail, GB&M and IRR) and how they impact finance operations.
  • Knowledge and working experience in SQL is desirable
  • Ability to work with little supervision, proactive, with drive and energy.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Understanding on IRRBB risk metrics and to have overall understanding on testing Approach.
  • Overall understanding on Basel Norms, ALCM domain understanding and Funds Transfer Pricing.
  • Strong understanding on Banking Products and characteristics.
  • Exposure in any of the other risk product.
