In this role, you will:

 

Job Scope:
•manange overall sales and operational acitivity in flagship branch
•Lead, develop and manage both sales teams and operation team to ensure achievement of the business objectives with responsibility for Wealth and Retail.
• Manage flagship branch covering Retail and Wealth, managing employees of the branch.
• Use knowledge of products, processes and procedures to address customer needs both through the team and individually
• Support and manage frontline colleagues to deliver service to customers at first point of contact through the reduction of operational requirements
• Provide guidance on transactions/operation activities and ensure that all work is processed in accordance with the established and documented procedures
• In order to deliver a high quality service to our highest value personal clients the role holder will need to complete simple retail sales and demonstrate an extensive knowledge of banking products and services across wealth and retail, conduct WEM referral and fulfill customer needs
• Manage or oversee the management of unit administration activities
• The role holder will direct and motivate Customer Service team and support staff to provide efficient customer services at the sub-branch counters by well balancing between service/ sales and risk control.
• The role holder has a responsibility to ensure the balancing of service / sales and risk control to ensure the achievement of business performance measures and plan.
• Build up HBSC culture and drive Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within all relationships
•Coach and train staff to build employees' technical knowledge and competency; broadening employees' skillsets; and coach employees to deliver solutions.
• Effective management of employee attrition rates.
• Ensure staff to deliver good customer experience and meet a wide range of customer needs.
• Operate with the highest standards that meet and exceed all regulatory requirements and ensure that front line act as first line of defence by having right conversations with customers.
• Be accountable for minimising risk and maximising operational efficiency.
• Ensure deliver high quality of work for our customers/prevent avoidable errors and operational losses and minimising rework/deliver what our customers expect on time and right first time/ no PCC conduct issue/control sales quality
•Complete training requirement, eg. GMT, local training requirement
• Ensure strict alignment to global standards and follow HSBC Value

Requisitos

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

 

Knowledge / Experience
Proven ability in team leadership and management
Proven ability in Wealth and Retail distribution
Proven and progressive management experience.
Proven ability in relationship management in the Retail sector
Demonstrate behaviours consistent with HSBC Values
Proven adherence to controls and compliance with no significant breaches
Expertise in financial planning and related systems and processes
Skills
Strong marketing, sales, management planning, financial, leadership, project management and communication skills
and good knowledge and control of risk management.
Strong planning and organising skills.
Ability to use numerical data to effectively manage branch performance.
Excellent industry and sector knowledge.
Good knowledge of Wealth and Retail distribution techniques and models.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a particular emphasis upon inspiring, influencing and negotiating
Coaching sales techniques, best practice and sales management on a team and one to one basis
Planning and organising skills
Analytical skills
Problem solving skills
Qualifications and Certificates (add local requirements)
Attain appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications as required by the local market
Attain any internal standards as required by market
