In this role you will:
- Process and analyse large data sets consisting typically of insurance premium and loss data to support internal performance reporting and rating decisions
- Develop and maintain Employee Benefits management information, performance dashboards, and renewal reports
- Collaborate with fronting insurers, internal stakeholders and advisors to support annual renewals
- Review and process reinsurance statements prepared by cedants in respect of inwards reinsurance arrangements for the HSBC life entity
- Develop and implement data controls to ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy of key data
- Ensure renewal processes are well controlled including execution of formal policy contracts
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Relevant experience in Insurance is an advantage
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to develop trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders across seniorities and geographies
- Advance skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills
- A proven understanding of Python and R is desirable
