This is a specialist role and requires the jobholder to possess a thorough understanding the HSBC system and business architecture, Finance reporting systems, regulatory reporting as well as change and transformation experience.

The jobholder will need to work independently with minimal supervision in ensuring that all project and reporting requirements are completed within the required timelines.

Based in Dubai, this role is for IRR Project Manager and Business Analyst to support Finance Transformation. The role holder will have exposure to senior management (UAE, Region and Group) and multiple internal and external stakeholders (including the Regional CFO/CRO, lines of business, Risk, Global Programme Counterparts and Audit).  The purpose of the role is to ensure the expedited remediation of prioritised Data Quality (DQ) issues under the IRR programme. Integrity of Regulatory Reporting a global programme aimed at improving the control framework of Regulatory Reporting, has been mobilised to ensure timely and accurate reporting for most critical regulatory reports in HSBC in an effective sustainable framework. One of the key focus areas include data remediation as remediation of data quality items on a prioritized basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Ensure data quality issues are accurately documented to progress and are clearly articulated and fully understood
•    Act as the primary point of escalation and be able to provide updates on the issue
•    Co-ordinating the delivery of remediation of data quality issues with business , reporting and system teams 
•    Monitoring reduction in manual adjustments made in regulatory reporting through resolving data quality issues at source 
•    Ensure appropriate closure of data quality issues, coordinating testing and evidencing successful implementation of remediation   
•    Point of contact for data quality updates for governance forums  
•    Targeting all DQ issues documented in Aurora 
•    Ensuring all root cause of DQ issues are accurately documented with business 
•    Progress of DQ issues through remediation stages per set targets and successful closure of DQ issues
•    Reduce number of manual adjustments from data quality issues in partnership with reporting teams
•    Support of overall programme plan and work with key contributors to agree their contribution
•    Provide support to resolve design and delivery issues 
•    Work within programme matrix structure to manage programme deliverables outside direct control and to appropriately influence priorities
•    Work within existing Change Delivery governance, supplemented by programme specific governance as required
•    Drive delivery of programme plans, provide regular status reporting to senior management and senior steering committees
•    Identify, track and resolve issues, risks and dependencies for programme deliverables

Requisitos

Experience & Qualifications:
•    Graduation degree is REQUIRED– to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit 
•    Knowledge of HSBC system and process architecture used in Finance and Regulatory Reporting  
•    Experienced with project management 
•      Strong understanding of the Finance Reporting and Regulatory Reporting processesin HSBC
•    A proven ability to deliver change
•    Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutions
•      Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Programme)
•    A growth mind-set focussed on delivering effective and efficient solutions for the good of the Bank.
•    Ability to form effective relationships and influence at the most senior level in the organization.  
•    Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management and change to a wide range of stakeholders
•    Experience of effectively working with regulators 
•    Ability to make robust/tough decisions which may be contrary to the business wishes and ability to prioritize
