We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Internal Communications Manager, Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB).
Reporting to the Senior Internal Communications Manager, CIB, the role holder will be responsible for supporting and executing impactful, creative and insight-led internal communications strategies that support the strategic priorities of HSBC’s CIB business and strengthen employee advocacy and engagement.
The role holder will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of key leadership communications events including Town Halls and Leadership Briefings, in partnership with Group Events and CIB Chief of Staff. They will also manage the runway of in-flight CIB-wide activity for the CIB Corporate Communications team and manage relevant leadership communications formats and channels – including CEO updates, intranet communities and news channels, and CIB-wide emails.

In this role you will:
• Support the implementation of effective employee and leadership communications programmes that support CIB.
• Support the creation and delivery of CIB-wide communications plans including internal campaigns, transformation projects and the rollout of new capabilities and services.
• Support the communication of the CIB people plan, including creative storytelling about the benefits of working for CIB.
• Deliver end-to-end support for all CIB CEO leadership and employee events and engagements to world-class standards.
• Manage internal channels to ensure important business insight and information is communicated to employees.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Strong communications skills, particularly writing, event management and project management.
• Experience of managing high-profile events for very senior executives with extreme attention to detail and a strong ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Excellent stakeholder relationships within a truly global and complex organisation.
• Curious and interested in Communications, especially in the area of leadership communications.
This role is based in London on a hybrid basis.
