Global Analytics Center (GAC):

  • Today, the GAC team generates value across the group through a wide variety of data and analytic solutions and related business consulting. GAC has become a one-stop shop for the group’s analytic needs leading the integration of analytics and data-driven decisions not only in traditional areas such as Risk , Retail, Wholesale, Private & Commercial Banking but also in new domains such as Regulatory, Operations, Procurement, Human Resources, and Financial Crime Risk. It provides support to various business groups and the job involves data analysis, model and strategy development & implementation, Business Intelligence, reporting and data management

Global Business/Global Function (Ex: WPB, CMB, GRA etc.):

  • Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.   • WPB business team will leverage richer analytics-driven insights to enable a more personalized approach to targeting and engaging with consumers. From location-based offers to improved service delivery, WPB business will use spending patterns, product use, and channel interactions to enable improved experience-driven banking. WPB business to provide employees with contextual data for smarter consumer engagement and provide management with robust analytics (customer interaction, attrition, loyalty, cost analysis and transactional and behavioral analysis) for ongoing decision-making and also for mitigating regulatory risk. WPB analytics team provide support 30+ markets globally

Global Business/Global Function - Sub-Function (Ex : CDO, CCS, DDS,…) :

  • UK DataOps squad is responsible for managing data controls and governance across data and analytics service. This role is for individual contributor with strong GCP services knowledge and able to innovate and implement new processes for data pipeline management. The squad explores new GCP services and help enable for analytics squads to use it.

  • Decision Sciences job family is structured to address business problems with quantitative solutions like building of predictive algorithms / forecasting / scenario simulations etc.. Members of this Job Family are differentiated by their capability of converting a business problem into a quantitative construct, solve it with available statistical / mathematical methods (following the right rigour), engage with IT to implement and finally interpret the model outcomes in business language. The range of business problems may cover areas of business growth, improving customer experience, limiting risk exposure, capital quantification, enhancing internal business processes etc. They are required to, as necessary, embed agile & exploratory practices into their approach, justify the choice of appropriate methods to various internal and external reviewers. This talent group is expected to keep themselves apprised of latest developments and industry practices around emerging methodologies, techniques etc. and bring those in-house by applying them for better outcomes. A decision sciences job family member should be able to:-

  • Partner with functional business leaders in developing analytical models

  • Partner with IT / Data Engineering teams to create deployment road-map

  • Provide actionable solutions with clear articulation of recommendations for the business stakeholders across geographies

  • Independently manage delivery of model development projects by working with business partners across regions / geographies

  • Actively contribute in innovative analytical solutioning for improved business performance

Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Experience: 7 to 10 years in data analytics, engineering, or BI roles

  • Hands-on experience of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) or similar cloud ecosystems

  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Dataflow, or similar GCP services

  • Data Engineering: Experience with ETL pipelines design and implementation

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Python and SQL for data manipulation

  • Good understanding of data architecture and modelling concepts

  • Familiairity in Visualization Tools: Qlik Sense or Looker

  • Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead discussions with global stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving mindset, and capable of mentoring junior team members
