We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager Business and Intermediary Operations.

Principal Responsibilities

The Business and Intermediary Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Business and Intermediary Operations team. This position will focus on implementing processes and smooth transition to post-eMPF.

In this role you will

  • Oversee Intermediary Operations; Develop and deliver training materials and resources to support intermediaries, ensuring they have the tools necessary for success and arrange their onboarding processes. You will also be required to collaborate with team heads to enhance the overall intermediary experience
  • Work on Communication & Publication Support; Develop and coordinate communication materials to support business & intermediary activities, e.g. blasting, prior notice, secure message, etc
  • Contribute to Team Management; Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members and support their professional development, assist in hiring, training, and evaluating team performance to ensure a high level of competency and morale. You will also help define team targets allocation across teams
  • Champion Operational Efficiency; Consistently review operational processes and identify areas for improvement as well as implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and ensure consistency in workflows and compliance of regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to Client Onboarding; Manage the client onboarding process for new pension clients, ensuring clarity and efficiency in their transition and manage the onboarding AML/KYC process to ensure it fulfils the internal standard and external regulatory requirement
  • Handle Finance Operations; Contribute to Business Finance and accounting, e.g. commission settlement, bonus rebate settlement, reserve fund for GTF top up, etc. and oversee the revenue/fee distribution ensuring it aligns with the agreed fee model
  • Contribute to Business Management Information; Assist in conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities that could inform strategic decisions related to business development and stay informed of industry developments to proactively engage with intermediaries on emerging needs and preferences
  • Support Risk Control & Governance; Maintain and track the risks items for business and ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, assisting in audits and compliance assessments as needed
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven strong experience in operations management or a related area, preferably in Pensions, financial services or intermediary context
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye on details
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a strong customer-centric approach
  • Ability to analyse performance data and generate actionable insights
  • Empathy and approachability, able to build trust with intermediaries
