We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Cards Merchant Partnership. 

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Identify and engage with merchant partners to expand card offers to meet customers’ needs. Negotiate and manage partnership to ensure alignment with business objective
  • Monitor partner performance and ensure compliance with HSBC standards. Monitor and analyse program performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results
  • Support initiatives to optimize profits and reduce costs
  • Implement credit card business strategies to deliver business targets
  • Support the team for the implementation of global partnerships in Hong Kong Cards and Lending business
  • Keep track of credit card business performance and product profitabilit
  • Keep track of the investment on partnerships and ensure proper payments reconciliation and settlement
  • Oversee the full life cycle of agreements, from drafting to execution, ensuring that agreements reflect HSBC goals and values and mitigate risk
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • University degree holder with working experience, preferably majoring in Business Administration or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in credit cards, payment industry, loyalty programmes or a similar role
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with creative and critical thinking
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding across different business units in Wealth and Personal Banking is preferred
