The Opportunity:

  • Pre Close activities in terms of Accruals / Re-classes / Provisions
  • Monthly Cost Analysis and identifying the drivers
  • Closure of Local GL/ MI systems
  • Ensuring the Group TM1 System is closed for the Country / Region
  • Data Integrity of various touchpoint systems
  • Reconciliation of Data between the systems
  • Other Adhoc requests
  • The Individual will have regular interactions with the Country / Region COO / FP&A teams and will call for his/her expertise on cost drivers and analysis. The interaction may also extend to multiple support teams including Global Business

What you’ll do:

  • Key responsibility is to ensure the Function / DBS Actuals numbers are Accounted, Charged and Reported accurately every month at Entity / Site / Region level
  • Ensure adherence to Group and Country timelines for GL close / MI Close
  • Ensure the data integrity in MI Actuals via establishment of effective control procedure.
  • Prepare the results of the process, investigate significant variances. Responsible for investigating any abnormal variances compared to previous months and coordinate with Central Finance teams for Business insights
  • Prepare ad-hoc requests quickly but also be able to priorities these requests, ensuring these are agreed.
  • Ensure all processes are correctly and thoroughly documented (SOPs) and have been agreed.
  • Maintain monthly reporting timetable for both routine and ad-hoc tasks
  • Continuous review of processes with the objective of improving the service delivery timeframes and identify areas of improvement
  • Ensure support is provided per requirements from onshore counterparts
  • Ability to manage trouble shooting/ secondary reviews and understand queries raised by business partner and determine escalation as necessary

  •  Accountability of accuracy and timeliness of deliverables

Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • B.Com /M .Com/ CA(Inter)/ CWA (Inter), CA/CWA/MBA: 12+ years
  • Strong working knowledge of Financial Systems is key (e.g. HUB, HMI, Saracen, Fusion, TM1, or similar)
  • Experience in Data mining & Analysis
  • Ability to plan, lead and implement change to Business Frameworks.
  • Ability to understand, map and change reporting process-flows
  • Good communication and ability to interact with multiple employee levels/business partners, etc.
  • Possess strong analytical and lateral thinking skills.
  • Result driven.
  • Strong relationship management skills across a diverse organization 
  • Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements – this may include working outside of normal hours (E)
  • Ability to learn and is highly motivated to perform at the highest standard.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and work within tight deadlines ensuring a complete and accurate flow of information's between stakeholders.
  • Must be experienced in working under pressure on multiple process improvement projects
  • Continuously improve and challenges the status quo
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Monitor the inherent operational risks with the process and define effective controls

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Candidates having techno bent of mind with experience in tools such as Qlik, Python, Xceptor will be preferred
  • Prior experience on working with TM1 and GL ledgers.
