We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Investment Operations Manager.
 
Principal Responsibilities

  • Oversee outsourcing service arrangement with custodian and ensure tasks outsourced are processed accurately and timely. Also, the deliverables are in line with demand statements. Custodian service scope includes:

o   Investment reporting

o   Custodian services (account and security maintenance/segregation and reporting),

o   Trade support on fund transfer and settlement

o   Other fund admin functions.

  • Optimize investment operating model in alignment with Group INS’s blueprint.
  • Acting relationship manager role facing CIO to support investment businesses settlement. 
  • Lead investment operation team to handle investment operation tasks and prioritize day-to-day processing across teams and/or outsourced parties. Establish targets for teams and/or outsourced parties to meet overall goals in production quality and financial performance.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports containing high quality reports to various parties
  • Take personal responsibility and be vigilant against financial crimes when carrying out duties and responsibilities. Know all relevant FCC policies and procedures and know when to escalate concerns or unusual activities.
  • Act as an escalation point for proper issue management and handling.
  • Implement change programmes as directed by the Group INS as well as HSIC management
  • Develop, implement and/or review Operating Procedures (incl. outsourced parties) in accordance with the Business Services Operating Model, internal policy and external regulatory requirement.
Requisitos
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in within the insurance industry, exposure to investment field preferred.
  • Experience in managing and mitigating operational risks as part of their day to day operations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
