The purpose of the Product Governance Manager role is to maintain and oversee consistent HSBC UK standards of the UK Product Governance Framework.

In this role you will:

•    Support the Senior Risk Manager responsible for Product Governance and leading on a range of HBUK Product Governance activities, including the maintenance and development of the Product Management Governance System (PMGS), the Product Governance operating model, enhancements to UK Bank standards relating to New Product Approvals, In Depth Product Reviews, Product Withdrawals and management of the Product Governance Knowledge Centre. 
•    Be an interface with Global teams, for Framework changes, HBUK Risk Policy & FIM Changes ensuring all such changes are understood and implemented without delay. Work with Lines of Business (LoB) to ensure the consistent interpretation and execution. 
•    Establish a strong direct relationship with key external stakeholders as appropriate, particularly when issues cross LoBs and require an entity level response, for example technology, payments and fraud.
•    Work with Lines of Business / Infrastructure teams / Risk teams to contribute to a world class professional product governance community for HSBC UK.
•    Regular and on-going engagement with other framework owners, primarily those frameworks that interlock with Product Governance – Price and Value, Vulnerability, Outcomes Monitoring, Consumer Duty and Third Party.
 

Requisitos

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Proven ability to identify, assess and communicate the need for risk management intervention in a complex and fast paced environment.
•    Ability to present complex issues confidently and concisely 
•    Previous experience collaborating with senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
•    Strong relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills.
•    Experience of working in a risk/product function or within relevant 1LoD teams
•    Demonstratable experience in reviewing complex and varied data and transforming into simplified, useful, insightful, and concise recommendations.

This role can be based in Sheffield or Birmingham, other hub sites may be considered.
